About
Built for the sentence that switches halfway.
Most speech models are trained to handle one language at a time. That is not how people in India actually talk — half the sentence is English, the other half is not, and the switch happens mid-clause. A model that treats that as an edge case produces transcripts and audio that are subtly wrong in ways nobody catches until a customer does.
Vocalix treats code-switching as the default case, in both directions, across Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Indian English.
Principles
| Nothing moves silently | Pinned versions stay pinned. Retired ones fail loudly with a migration path rather than redirecting to something that sounds different. |
| Rejected, not clamped | An out-of-range parameter is an error. A silently adjusted one is a support ticket nobody can reproduce. |
| Free means free | Test keys are deterministic, use no GPU and never touch the wallet — so CI can run them forever. |
| Your audio is yours | Audio sent to the API is never used to train models. |
